Why Buy an AGA

The AGA (Aktiebolaget Gas Accumulator)was created in 1922 to aid the home and make daily life easier. It was built to provide constant heat, cooking and help with the drying of clothes, and also heating the water for washing dishes, laundry and personal use. It was introduced to England in 1929 and there are 3 main models available; 2, 3 or 4 ovens that run on a variety of fuels. Oil, Gas, Electric and Solid Fuel are all currently available and each offer their own features. More recent models are proven to be much more economical than everyday ovens. AGA ovens are designed to retain heat and so use less fuel making them more efficient. AGA ovens are renown for producing excellent quality food, locking in all the goodness, flavour and moisture.

When purchasing your AGA there are many things to consider:

  • How many ovens do I need? 2, 3 or 4?
  • What is the best fuel for my requirements oil, gas, electric or solid fuel?
  • Do I need a chimney?
